FAT DISSOLVING
(AQUALYX)

If exercise and diet alone aren't kicking those last stubborn pockets of fat, Aqualyx fat dissolving injections are a fantastic treatment option. Fat-dissolving injections literally do dissolve fat and are a valuable treatment when it comes to ‘problem areas’ - those one or two areas where you always seem to have fat even when your overall body weight is normal or just slightly overweight.

Used to treat the double chin, abdomen, love handles, thighs and back of arms, Aqualyx has undergone rigorous trials to gain FDA and EEA licensing in the UK plus with years of results under its belt, we know it works. We did try the internet sensation Lemon Bottle ourselves too and found, at least on the abdomen area, Aqualyx to be far superior in terms of results.

How long will it last?

All fat dissolved is permanent. It's in your hands (diet and lifestyle) whether you deposit new fat following a course of treatments!

What areas can be treated?

Anywhere that 1.5cm of fat can be pinched. This is how much fatty layer is needed for the treatment to be carried out safely. The submental or double-chin area seems to represent about half of the fat-dissolving treatments we carry out with the rest made up of the back of the arms, the lower back (love handles), inner thighs, outer thighs and abdomen.

Will it work straight away?

Yes and no. The active ingredient (deoxycholic acid) does dissolve the fatty cells it comes into contact with, right away, but the broken down cells attract fluid in the form of oedema. Once this swelling has gone down, over the course of 1-4 weeks, the area will look noticeably better even after one treatment. We recommend a course of 2-8 treatments one month apart depending on the amount of fat to dissolve, so does require some patience for best results.

Will it hurt?

Anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin and anaesthetic is mixed in with the injection solution so overall, the treatment is relatively pain free. The area treated can be slightly tender to touch for around a week following the treatment.
